Beretta 90 series pistol, right-hand safety / de-cocker roll pin.
As many of you know the roll pin on the right-hand side of the safety / de-cocker is known to walk out of these guns. I had that happen on my gun, so I googled around and factory roll pins were $5-10 each and you still had to add shipping. Being who I am I spent ~$30 at McMaster-Carr on different sized pins to find a good off-the-shelf, high-quality alternative. These roll pins are made in Germany, are for a 1.5mm hole and made of high-quality stainless steel. The pin is longer than the factory pin and will be ~0.040″ proud of the surface.

Like many of you I have a Beretta 90 series pistol (two actually, a base 92 FS and a 92 Brigadier Elite II). It is a common failure mode for the roll pin on the right-hand safety/de-cocker to come out. I had that happen on my gun, so I googled around and factory roll pins were $5-10 each and you still had shipping charges. Being who I am I spent ~$30 at McMaster-Carr on different sized pins to find a good off-the-shelf, high-quality alternative. The roll pins are for a 1.5mm hole and are stainless steel. The pin is longer than the factory pin but as you can see from my pictures it fits in my gun but it is a hair ~0.040″ long).
Is this pin anything special? No, but it is stainless steel, and they are made in Germany. Like all my products my goal is to save you money and to do that by identifying off-the-shelf / commercial solutions that fit the application (our firearms).
*Watch out* I had a customer buy this pin and it did not fit his gun. His gun was a 2025 92 by Langdon Tactical. The hole size in his safety was ~2mm. What we don’t know is if Beretta has changed the hole size on newer production guns, if there was an oops and that is how Beretta fixed it, or if this is a modification by Langdon. If you have a newer 92 series I would recommend you confirm that your pin size is (1.5mm or 0.059″) before you order.
